Biologist
This position is open to students pursuing either a B.A. or M.A. in Biology. You will be required to be the liaison between Dr. Hysell Oviedo and the animation team. Your primary job is to make sure the animators understand the biology concepts so that they are created with the utmost accuracy.
Responsibilities will include:
- Weekly check-ins with animators
- Comprehensive understanding of biology concepts
- Strong leadership skills
- Attention to detail

Programmer Student
The student will collaborate with Dr. Hysell Oviedo to program interactive simulations for use as a teaching tool. S/he will work closely with the biologist, who will be responsible for ensuring that all illustrations and animations are scientifically correct, along with the Digital Scholarship librarian, who will supervise the production.
Required skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript or other web-based languages
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite to produce animations, a plus!

Artist
This position is for students working towards a B.A. who possess digital art capabilities. During the Summer 2018, students will work alongside Dr. Hysell Oviedo to help high school students understand advanced biological concepts.
