About

This collection of ephemeral flyers, newsletters and news articles were circulated at The City College of New York primarily between 1934 and 1936, with some items created and circulated as late as 1941. They reflect a time of political activism by members of the student body concerned about events in the wider world and their possible impact on their lives. This set of materials from The Campus Newspaper Collection were digitized by Garth Graeper and Tyler Smith, graduate students from the Palmer School of Library and Information Science, Long Island University, who were placed at the City College of New York Archives under the auspices of the Project Sesame Internship Program.
