Nobuyasu Abe requested UN Secretary general Kofi Annan's approval of a list of Member States to be invited in the work of the Group of Governmental Experts, to be established under a General Assembly Mandate to reappraise the relationship between disarmament and development in accordance to its resolution 57/65, entitled "Relationship between disarmament and development." and the Special Session of the General Assembly devoted to disarmament (SSODI).
