Relationship Agreement with the International Criminal Court

Following the UN Secretary-General's letter dated 9 June 2004, addressed to to Bertrand Ramcharan, Acting High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva, Nicolas Michel, Under-Secretary-General, The Legal Counsel informs Louis Arbour, High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva about the Provisional applicability of the Relationship Agreement between the United Nations and the International Criminal Court which will enter in force upon signature by both parties. As 14 September 2004, both parties have been legally bound to the Provisional applicability of the Relationship Agreement between the United Nations and the International Criminal Court.
